Harini "Rini" Raghavan

New Jersey-based singer, violinist, and composer who integrates South Asian Carnatic traditions with jazz and electronic pop. A 2023 NJ State Council on the Arts Fellow, her credits include the Grammy-nominated album Shuruaat and co-composing the score for the Netflix series The Fame Game.

An experienced performer and recording artist, Harini has recorded and performed with Grammy-winning artists A.R. Rahman, Bill Whelan, and Clay Ross, as well as renowned singer-songwriter Idan Raichel. She has headlined prestigious venues and festivals across the US and India, including Boston Symphony Hall, Lincoln Center, Beacon Theatre, the Kennedy Center, and the United Nations General Assembly. Equally accomplished in composing for screen, Harini co-composed the background score for the Netflix show The Fame Game, starring Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit. She also tours the United States with diverse projects, performing as the lead singer and violinist for the American Patchwork Quartet and collaborating with entities like Bollywood Boulevard, JSWISS, Salsa Masala, and Indo Warehouse.
